Five Cocktail Dresses most underrated heads of all time While(Whilst? )I am generally known as a mll prognosticator/literary pugilist, my friends know me as the biggest gear hound?Let go with hound that they have ever known.I don collect so much Princess Wedding Dresses as i acquire and hoard.I do weird stuff like keep my broken lacrosse heads on my mantle. As of this printing i own well over 15 complete sticks and somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 heads.I tried nearly every head on the market.I drove 45 minutes just to get my hands on the new proton power a few weeks ago and while i have my alltime favourites the secondgen evolution with the long throat, the original proton power, the original edge i also have an appreciation for heads that have been lost in the shuffle or that have been a touchstone for present day head technology.I not the curator of Ball Gown Wedding Dresses the museum; But i could give you the tour.So with that in mind let take a look at my top five underrated heads of all time. 5.Warrior diablo:A true treasure of the most original of original equipment lines. TheWarrior diablo was an amazing head with a ridiculous logo on the tag.The little casper/richie rich devil holding a lacrosse stick was a bad look, but the head itself?Woo.Just all hard lines and angles. It was really tough to http://www.jb3.co.uk/prom-dress.html string, but if you liked short(And weirdly sharp)Heads with radical in the land before litigious the is king you really dug this head.Bonus points if you managed to score one of these with a vintage rockit pocket the ball literally never came out until it needed to.Warrior introductory line is most commonly remembered for the original cobra head, but the diablo played an awkwardly beautiful second fiddle for those that wanted something a little different. (See the originalWarrior diablo photo and product info provided by Warrior below. ) 4.Warrior razer(1st generation):A true classic and one of the first postspring launches in the lacrosse industry(It debuted on mll fields in the summer instead of college campuses in the spring or general releases in the fall). The razer was a simple and elegant design that has since been reworked and remade more times than any other head except the edge or the evolution.Random aside:If you say instead of you doing it wrong. It way more fun to say"Eeevo. "Try it out.In any case, the razer minimalist design coupled with outstanding performance and exceptional versatility makes it one of the most underappreciated lacrosse heads of all time. Its endurance as a consistently redesigned and reimagined head design is a testament to its timelessness.Brine nitrous:Along with the brine vapor the nitrous was the pioneer of the somanystringingholesit trend that still permeates the industry to this day.A logistical nightmare for lowlevel stringers, the nitrous was flat like the edge, but so long and pinched(Compared to the other heads on the market at the time)That the concept of doubles and triples in the mesh was out of the question for the first time. You could single up all the way down and still have eight holes left and a pocket deep enough to catch largemouth bass with.A favourite amongst fogos and the guy who took that long slow rip from up top every time he touched the ball, the nitrous wasn very diverse, but it was beloved. (It shown below both unstrung and strung with a piece of rainbow ninja lax ninja fade. ) 2.Stx x2:The second greatest defensive head of all time. Many times copied, few times perfected, the x2 was a redesign of the original stx classic The excaliber also a head that taught a generation(Or two)To spell a word wrong. The x2 was one of the first if not the first in a long line of heads that were remixed, fused and amalgamated modern technology(The stx cant with oldschool design(The excaliber).People forget how beloved this head was when it came out. This head was the rare mix of virtually indestructible and functional.Sure, it was head for defensemen, but midfielders and even attackmen had a go with it because it was a tougher version of the original proton and was just as easy to string as that head was.You have your x10s and xcaliburs in large part to the success of the x2 and the failure of the raptor that preceded it. (Thanks to chris wilson for providing the pic below. ) 1.Brine edge plus:The greatest defensive head of all time.Full stop.If you played lacrosse in the aughts you must have at least seen one of these heads on the field.Talk about a tank.Back when men were men and defensemen threw bolos instead of tikataka fancypants combo checks, the edge plus was an exceptional weapon. An original edge design bolstered by a litany of vented plastic down the sidewall, this head wasn much of a head turner, but it was one hell of a head smasher.Commonly seen on wooden sticks and heavier titaniums, the edge plus wasn for the noodlearmed but it held up to even the most vicious abuser. You will still find newly paunchified dmen using this head in some circles.Don worry; They harmless unless you get close enough to take a twohander.Nothing compares to the power this head could channel, but the way the game is evolving power doesn seem too important these days.A lost classic in the edge remake frenzy(Original, aero, x [with the fingers], ice, even the disambiguation known as the warp that was a completely different design)The plus is 1 with an icepack.
